Instead of a Six Nations rugby tournament featuring big-name European teams, there will be an eight-team competition with Japan and Fiji initially competing as the only non-European teams. Georgia will take part in the Eight-team Rugby Tournament 2021.

AFP sources reported that Japan categorically refused to participate in the eight-nation autumn tournament due to the coronavirus pandemic, they write Georgia news.
“Scotland had originally planned to warm up against Georgia on October 24 at Murrayfield.”

The match, which was supposed to be a warm-up game for Scotland, will be given official status and will be played with Georgia as full opponents.
The Eight Nations tournament is scheduled to take place over four consecutive weekends from 14 November to 5 December 2021.
