Accountability, Transparency and Trust in Elections in Georgia
The main objectives of the project are an active election observation mission, voter information campaigns and support for constructive dialogue between political parties and voters. These efforts are aimed at developing a culture of accountability, transparency and trust in Georgia's elections.
“The elections in Georgia have the potential to reaffirm the country’s commitment to democratic principles and its desire to join the European Union. I am confident that this project, by observing elections, providing knowledge and education to voters, and promoting dialogue between political parties and voters, will greatly assist the democratic process in Georgia.”. – stated EU Ambassador to Georgia Pavel Gerchinsky.
