The official authorities of Georgia offered the so-called “government” Assistance to Abkhazia in extinguishing fires, this was announced at a briefing Minister of Georgia for Reconciliation and Civil Equality Thea Akhvlediani, reported Georgia news.

“Today we used several times “hotline” communications with Abkhazia, and expressed their full interest in providing assistance in extinguishing forest fires. As soon as we receive a specific answer from that side, we are ready to join the process.”
said Minister Teja Ahvlediani
As you know, in the Gali region, residents of populated areas are being evacuated due to forest fires, and in Gagra, the fire came close to residential buildings. Dry weather and strong winds make it difficult to put out the fire.
