Gocha Lortkipanidze elected judge in The Hague

The candidate for the post of Minister of Justice of Georgia, Gocha Lortkipanidze, was elected as a judge of the International Criminal Court in The Hague.

“Today the Assembly elected Joanna Korner (United Kingdom) and Gocha Lortkipanidze (Georgia) as judges of the International Criminal Court. We will resume elections on Monday."

Since 2013, Gocha Lortkipanidze has been the Deputy Minister of Justice of Georgia, and most recently the Acting Minister of Justice of Georgia.
