Investigative service officers in Tbilisi Ministry of Finance of Georgia identified several pharmacies that sold psychotropic substances to Tbilisi residents without prescriptions.
As a result of investigative actions, 19 pharmacies were discovered that freely dispensed medications that are subject to special control. Pharmacies did not have the right to sell such drugs.

A large number of psychotropic drugs were seized, some of which were directly on display.
Investigators opened a criminal case into the fact “illegal business activity”. Those involved in this offense face up to three years in prison.
